Recipe
1. Onion, tomatoes
onion 3.5 oz (100 g) • tomatoes 14 oz (400 g)
Peel the onion, slice it into narrow half-moon shapes and use your hand to take them into thin strips. Wash the tomatoes and slice them into half-moon shapes, too. Add them to onion and mix.

2. Brine
water ¾ cup (200 ml) • sugar granulated 2 tsp • salt 0.5 tsp • lemon 1 pc • vinegar
Add sugar and salt to water and stir. Add juice from one lemon, perhaps even few drops of vinegar. Pour the brine over the tomatoes with onion and stir.
