1. Steaming of peas and smoked meat
peas 2.2 lb (1000 g) • smoked meat 14 oz (400 g)
Pour frozen or fresh peas into the bottom basket of a steamer. Place smoked meat into the top basket. Set the steaming time for 40 minutes. Steam all together for 30 minutes. After expiring of steaming time take out the bowl with peas and steam smoked meat further.

semi skimmed milk 1,5% ¾ cup (200 ml) • salt • garlic
Pour the peas into a saucepan, add milk, according to taste add salt and pressed garlic. Mix all together. If you want to have the mash weaker, you can add adequate amount of stock which was produced in a drip tray of steamer.
