Side dish from red lentils and coconut milk

water ¾ cup (200 ml) • red onion 1.75 oz (50 g) • garlic 1 clove • ground ginger 0.25 tsp • ground Roman caraway spice - jeera 0.25 tsp • bay leaf 1 pc • spice turmeric 0.25 tsp • chilli pepper 0.5 tsp • imalayan salt 0.75 tsp
Add water, peeled, coarsely chopped onion and a cleaned, grated, garlic clove. Add spices and salt. Bring to the boil and cook for 10 minutes. The lentils soften relatively quickly. Let it rest for 15 minutes in a pot, covered.

Add lemon juice, coconut milk and chopped coriander.
