Scottish eggs
Tasty meatballs filled with whole hard boiled eggs. It's said they don't miss at any picnic in the British Isles. You will surely like them too, they are delicious with bread, potatoes or sauce. It is recommended to fry them in oil, but they can also be baked in the oven, with little less calories.

Put the meat in a bowl, add salt and pepper.

If you want you can also add finely chopped onion and cleaned, crushed garlic. Stir.

Divide the meat mixture into 5 equal parts, shape the balls and create pancake. Put eggs on the meat.

... and in breadcrumbs. It is good to coat the balls in the egg and in the breadcrumbs again. They hold their shape better.

Put the balls in a baking dish with a little oil and drizzle them lightly with oil. (You can also fry them, immersed in a large amount of oil, preferably in a fryer).

Close the baking dish and pre-bake for 10-15 minutes at 735°F (390°C) F (390°F (200°C) C).

Uncover, turn the meatballs and bake uncovered for 25 minutes at 670°F (355°C) F (355°F (180°C) C).
