Marinated Pork Steaks with Bacon
Serve with roast potatoes.

Recipe
1. Preparation of meat and marinade
pork loin 1.3 lb (600 g) • sunflower oil ¾ cup (200 ml) • onion 5.25 oz (150 g) • garlic 3 cloves • lemon peel 1 tbsp
Cut pork center or blade loin into the thicker cca 1,5 cm slices. Pour the oil in a skillet, add onion and garlic, shortly sauté and add grated lemon zest from chemically non-treated lemon.

whole black pepper 0.5 tsp • colour pepper 1 tsp
Crash black pepper in a mortar, add into the onion, garlic and lemon zest. Remove from the heat, blend and let it cool to the room temperature.

Place meat into a bowl, pour the marinade over, turn so marinade can get to all slices and let it rest in fridge for 3 hours, eventually longer.
4. Broiling the steaks
Heat the grill skillet, place there slices of meat and shortly fry for 5 minutes.

Turn the meat and pour remaning marinade over the meat. Fry on other side for 5 minutes.

bacon strips 5.25 oz (150 g) • onion 7 oz (200 g)
Cut the bacon into the slices and after taking of steaks out, fry in the skillet. You can fry also chopped onion there.
