Dried fenugreek leaves 2 tsp
When the lentil is almost coked, remove it from the heat and stir in the fenugreek.

Fry the onion in butter with caraway and bay leaf.

Season with pepper, turmeric, salt, finely chopped garlic and ginger. For the spicy version, it's time to add a piece of chopped chili pepper.
