Homemade vanilla sugar
This is the way how our great-great-grandmothers prepared sugar... Simple production of homemade vanilla sugar. The sugar contains real vanilla, real natural vanillin and not just a synthetic vanillin flavor.

Recipe

sugar cane 7 oz (200 g)
Grind the sugar in a coffee grinder (not completely into powder) and put it into a closable glass jar.
Cane sugar is used in this recipe, but white sugar can also be used. With the use of cane sugar, in addition to the vanilla flavor, it also has a mild honey flavor.

vanilla pod 2 pcs
Cut the vanilla pods lengthwise and remove the seeds from the inside with a knife. Add the seeds to the sugar and mix well.

Finally, put the empty halves of the vanilla pods in the glass with sugar.

Close the glass and let rest for 2 weeks. During these two weeks, shake the glass from time to time. After the specified time, remove the empty pods and vanilla sugar can be used in baking in the required amount, approximately 1.5-2 teaspoons per cake or dessert.
