Groats with mushrooms
Traditional food from Slovak cuisine. Instead of fat, the dish can be baked in oil and it becomes a vegetarian delicacy.

salt 0.5 tsp • ground black pepper 0.5 tsp • water 2.5 cup (600 ml)
Add salt, pepper, water and cook for 20 minutes under a cover. The water must be absorbed almost completely.

Add drained mushrooms and fry for a while.

Put the groats in a bowl, add the mushrooms, mix and let cool.

Mix half the potatoes with groats.

marjoram 1.5 tsp • garlic 1 clove
Mix marjoram and cleaned crushed garlic in the other half of the potatoes.

Spread the potatoes on the first layer.

Bake for 60 minutes at 180 °C.
