Fučka

Traditional "blown" mashed potatoes. Serve as a separate dish with fried onions, or as a side dish.

Recipe
1.
potatoes 1.8 lb (800 g) • water • salt 0.5 tsp
Clean the potatoes, cut them, add water, salt and cook until soft.

onion 14 oz (400 g) • sunflower oil
Clean the onion, cut it finely and fry it until golden brown in an appropriate amount of oil.

Crush the potatoes well in the water in which they were boiled.

unsalted butter 1 tbsp
Put them back on the cooker, add butter and dissolve it in a mash while stirring constantly.

As a separate dish, sprinkle the Fučka with fried onions and serve with a glass of cold sour milk.
