Christmas cookies in the shape of hedgehog with plums
Crispy Christmas cookies in the shape of hedgehogs, filled with dried plums, dipped in chocolate and coated in coconut. Children will be very happy during the preparation, so have fun while baking. Thanks to the inserted plum, the hedgehogs are big enough to shaping them with children.

Recipe

unsalted butter 4.5 oz (125 g) • powdered sugar 2 oz (60 g) • all-purpose flour / plain flour 7.75 oz (220 g) • corn starch 1 oz (30 g) • chicken egg 1 pc • lemon peel 0.5 tsp
Chop butter into a bowl, add sugar, flour, cornstarch, eggs and grated peel of chemically untreated lemon.

Prepare the dough. Wrap it in foil and let it harden in the refrigerator.

Create a 20 cm long roller from the dough. Cut it into 20 parts.

Spread each piece a little in yourhands. Wrap the whole plum in the dough ...

... and shape into a drop-shape. Place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.

Bake for 15 minutes at 175 °C.

cooking chocolate 2.75 oz (80 g) • whipping cream (30-33% fat) 4 tbsp
Melt the chocolate with the cream in a steam bath.

Take the biscuit by the tip and soak the top part in chocolate, up to about half of 2/3 of the biscuit.

Put the hedgehogs on the grid and paint the nose and eyes with chocolate.

Let it harden in the cold.
