Cabbage noodles

Serve either as sweet meal with sugar and cinnamon, or as salty meal with salt and roast bacon. Following meal is neutral, so that both options for serving and consuming are available.

Recipe
1. Preparation of cabbage
white cabbage 1.1 lb (500 g)
Use thicker side of the kitchen grater to grate the cabbage.

salt 1 tsp • sugar granulated 1.5 tbsp • crushed cumin 1 tsp • ground black pepper 0.5 tsp • water 1.1 cup (250 ml)
Add cabbage, water, salt, sugar, crushed cumin, ground black pepper and braise covered for 15 - 20 minutes while stirring ocassionally.

pasta - patches 1.1 lb (500 g) • unsalted butter 0.75 oz (20 g)
Cook noodles in slightly salted water. Drain, rinse under running water and pour them back in the pot. Add braised cabbage and butter.

Stir well.
