Aronia syrup

Recipe

aronia 1.1 lb (500 g) • water 2.1 cup (500 ml)
Collect the aronia and wash it on a sieve under running water. Boil the water and let it cool.

Blend the aronia with a little cold boiled water.

Put it in a glass and add the remaining prepared water.

citric acid 1.5 oz (40 g)
Add citric acid and mix well (with wooden or plastic spoon). Store in the cold for 48 hours.

Pour the juice into a larger glass. Suitable is 4 liter preserving jar.

Strain the juice as much as possible. Then fasten the folded gauze to the next glass with an elastic band ...

... and strain the juice through it again.
9.
Squeeze the fruit flesh in the gauze as much as possible.
10.
Store the syrup in the cold. You get a tasty limonade by mixing an appropriate part of syrup and water. Now: Cheers!
