Recipe
1. Preparing custard filling
soft curd 1.1 lb (500 g) • sugar granulated 2 oz (60 g) • vanilla sugar 2 pcs • raisins • egg yolk 1 pc
Sift the custard with sugar, add yolks and raisins.

puff pastry 1 pc
We roll the puff dough out on a mealed board, so that it will stick out of the backing tray.

long biscuits (ladyfingers) 1 pk • grated apples 4 pcs • ground cinnamon
With the rolling pin we transfer the dough on the tray. We place the biscuits and apples in the middle of dough and sprinkle it with cinnamon. If the apples stay sour then we can add sugar.

We top it with the custard filling

chicken egg 1 pc • semi skimmed milk 1,5% 1 tsp
We take the dough which sticks out from each side and move it over the cake, so that they will nearly touch. If we will be left with some remains from the dough, we can create a grating on the surface of the cake. We brush it with an egg whisked with a bit of milk.

We brown it in an oven preheated to 320°F (160°C) for about 20 - 30 minutes. We top the cake with sifted powdered sugar.
